Toyota prius navigation dvd update 20101/31/2024 So my focus was on getting a back up disk made of my version 5 disk that I have in my 2006 package 8 Prius-to test the burn process only. Running Toast on the Mac while trying to do this is a huge pain, so I won't dwell on it too much except to say you can't set the book type on Toast, so to hell with it.Īfter many googling hours looking for information I came to the conclusion that if you try to burn a disc for a gen 5 system and it's not right, you'll run the risk of updating the firmware and getting stuck with unreadable map data-while making your factory disk useless. I'm also using Verbatim 8x DVD+R DL disks that show up in Imgburn as MKM-003-00. I have Toast 10 on the Mac side and I'm running both Vmware's Fusion 3 and Parallels 6 running Windows 7-both have Imgburn (latest) on them. I have the stock Optiarc AD-7170A in one bay and a HL-DT-ST BDDVDRW US08LS10 (LG Blu-ray) in the other bay. Mac Pro Octocore with 16 gigs RAM and 2 TB RAID installed in the four drive bays. I've been trying to get this to work for the better part of the weekend. I was successfully able to burn a copy from this ISO using Imgburn (set booktype to DVD-ROM) and using a Verbatim DVD+R DL on a Samsung SH-S183L drive.ġ.) Extract the Toyt_Gen4_ver10.1_NA.iso from the 6-part rar files.Ģ.) Open ImgBurn and click "Write image file to disc"ģ.) Under the Source box, either browse for the ISO file or drag-and-drop it into the source box.Ĥ.) Click on the book icon on the bottom right of the interface which will then let you select your booktype-Select the correct manufacture for your dvd-burner, select the correct media (DVD+R DL), change New Setting to DVD-ROM, and click Change, OK, and OK out of box.ĥ.) You can change the Write Speed, but I left it at "AWS" and it came out fine.Ħ.) Click on the big "Write" button on the bottom left of interface to start the burning process (it took ~40 minutes for my computer to complete it).
